Welcome to Spotty Dotty & Friends! Professional Dog Groomer. My name is Claire and I am opening a new dog grooming salon, in Jaywick, Essex!! But, don't worry because I'm a professional groomer bringing 12 years of experience, knowledge and skill. All my grooming services are available for any breed, crossbreed and size, I'm fully insured, first aid trained, and I use some of the best equipment/ products around for dog groomers. There are NO cages or cabinet dryers involved (another brilliant reason for choosing us 😁) I only groom one dog or family of dogs, at a time so your much loved pets get one to one attention and care from me.

A little hello from me, Claire, owner and groomer. 😊 I started my grooming career at Writtle College in 2005, when Spot my ESS came along, I totally fell in love and started grooming in the boarding kennels that I was working at, at the time. I then got an amazing job opportunity to move over to Guernsey in 2010, I thought it would be a great opportunity to improve on my skills and see what life was like as a mobile groomer! I then came back to the UK in 2011, worked at a couple of salons in Croydon & Basildon and then in January 2012 I made my dream come true and started up Spotty Dotty as I much preferred the mobile side of things and we've been going ever since! In 2014, Pebbles my little Lhasa Apso came into my life, and she was the next step in my grooming career as we entered grooming competitions. In 2016 we entered our first ever comp called the Rookie Challenge, we didn't place on the day but we did come home with a special award "Best Transformation" and I couldn't be any prouder of how well she coped with everything. Since then I have become a member of Essex Flyball team and have competed at Crufts. I currently have 6 dogs, Venom, Cobra, Turtle, Shelby, Muffin and Kiki who are always with me at work. I have now made my other dream come true and on 4th Jan 2024 my new fully equipped salon is opening 😁
